for Lighthouse Festival

Following many missed shots of the festival, Lighthouse was finally back at safer times. In collaboration with MetaVis, we were asked to come up with the light design for the "Ambient Floor" of the year 2022.

We created a series of lasercut wooden lamps and panels, to be placed around the area, near the DJ area and inside the tent where people lay down. Using TouchDesigner, we control the Astera Light Bulbs (used on the lamps) and the Spotlights (at the DJ house) via DMX, in order to facilitate a more immersive and intimate stage.

Characterised as ambient, calm and restful, this floor demanded a matching light atmosphere. We aimed for an oasis.
